Hiking from Flagstaff to the Grand Canyon

After a great hike across the Kaibab Plateau (even with the snow!) and through the Grand Canyon (rim to rim), we did a quick flip flop and decided to hike the section from the Grand Canyon to Flagstaff NOBO, instead of SOBO (like the rest of this hike), mainly to avoid another snowstorm!

Please continue to follow our adventure on the Arizona Trail, as we head South from Flagstaff and look forward to Mormon Lake, Pine and beyond (and warmer weather hopefully!).

And don’t forget, we are doing some fundraising for the Humane Society while on this hike also, so if you can, please support our hike and the great work that the Humane Society does by going here. You can pledge as little as 5¢ per mile and pay your full donation when we finish the AZT. 90% of your donation will go directly to the Humane Society and the remaining 10% will help support the Arizona Trail Association.
