Fall colors on Mount Elden

Recently, we hiked to the highest point in Arizona, Mount Humphreys.

This weekend, we took advantage of the good weather – pre storm to come – and hiked Mount Elden, which overlooks our house in Flagstaff.

It always seems windy atop Mount Elden and it certainly was on our Sept. 29th, 2018 hike; we were the last people to climb up into the tower on that day…the staff locked the gate behind us due to the very high winds
