Capitol Reef National Park

Last time on this bike trip blog, we climbed up & over Boulder Mountain, heading East on the amazing Utah-12 route across Southern Utah.

In this post, we cycle the UT-24, deal with some hot temperatures, camped in the desert and make a quick visit to Capitol Reef National Park and on to Hanksville.

It’s mostly downhill traveling West to East through the park
An early ride through the park meant we had the place to ourselves
We had a really amazing ride through the park
The Fremont River flows through the park
Hot weather en-route from the park to Hanksville
Barren section from the park to Hanksville
So dry…
