In our last post, we shared our adventures in Kootenay National Park (B.C.), Banff National Park (Alberta) and Jasper National Park (Alberta) and in this post, we continue our awesome time in the mountains with visits to Yoho National Park (B.C.), Glacier National Park (B.C.) and Mount Revelstoke National Park (B.C.).
Lots of waterfalls and ptarmigans in Yoho National Park, just west of Lake Louise.
We didn’t spend long in Glacier National Park but, we did have a great day-hike on the Abbott Ridge trail (one of the few trails which didn’t require a group of 4 people or more, due to high grizzly bear activity). **This is the Glacier park in Canada, not the Glacier park in the US**
One of the smaller national parks in the Parks Canada system but, with this great hike to Eva Lake.
From these great few weeks in the mountains of Alberta and British Columbia, we continued the journey west to Vancouver Island.
Join us in our next blog post, where we spend way longer than planned on lovely Vancouver Island, boondocking all the way around the island.
